Our Family

We are living in the beautiful city of San Francisco and have been living here for a year and a half now. Brett is finishing up his 2nd year of dentistry at the University of the Pacific and I'm at home with our two boys. Ki will be three in June and Nate is 8 months. We have really enjoyed living here and experiencing the fun adventures that this city has to offer. But most of all we have loved every moment with our children. We love to go find new parks or museums, go to the beach (which is within walking distance from where we live), go down to fishermans wharf or just be a tourist for the day, get ice cream at Ghirardelli, or just wrestle with our boys in the front room. As a mother my favorite thing to do is just watch my children grow. I love watching Ki learn new things and seeing him get out of hard situations by himself or watching Nate roll over so he can get a toy. My children fascinate me everyday. I just love them.

Brett and I have loved this time living away from home. It sure has made our relationship so much stronger just to really depend on each other. When we moved here a year and a half ago we were, and still are blessed to live so close to Brett's twin brother and his sister. It has really been a blessing to still be close to family even though we moved away from Canada. We miss Southern Alberta but we know that someday we will be back. It has been so fun with Joel, Regan and Maggie literally living a just a door away and Sarah , Scott, Kael, and Karson upstairs from us. We miss the Probst's now but we sure have great memories from the time we had with them.

We have also been blessed to find the friends that we have made through Brett's school and our ward. We love living in the Presidio so close to all of you. We will be friends forever.

As for this city we are a little sad to think that we only have a little more than a year left here. We love San Francisco and will definitely leave part of our hearts here. We have loved having family come visit and explore this city with us and welcome any visitors anytime.
