Stirring and Stirring and Stirring our Brew.... Ooo, Ooo
Tip toe, Tip toe BOO!!!

The boys love sing this song for Halloween and trying to scare us with their "BOO's". We love Halloween!!
We went to a Halloween party at Elaine's house. It was really entertaining and Spooky...
I made these mini wiener mummies for the party. I thought they turned out so cute.

Ki was spider-man, Nate was super-man, and I was suppose to be cat-women.

Nate didn't want anything to do with the pumpkins guts

We thought that our pumpkins turned out pretty good this year.
The boys were so cute in their costumes. Nate would fly around the house making airplane noises

Thanksgiving '09

This year we actually celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving in Canada. I love Canadian Thanksgiving!! Most of my siblings got together and decided to we would still have all the trimmings without my parents around. Since they were down in Arizona and decided to spend it down there with Renee and her family, we did the entire dinner all by ourselves. It was really fun!! We started the afternoon with yummy little appetizers and treats just to hold us all over until the BIG dinner occurred. We spent all afternoon hanging out together- cooking, watching movies, playing, and napping. The whole dinner which included: turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, traditional Grandma Taylor salad, homemade rolls, stuffing, sides of pickles/pickled carrots/olives, rhubarb slushy pop, festive water, apple crisp, and pumpkin pie. There was so much food and everything was delicious. We had the dinner at Jared and Elaine's house and I nervously took on the task of turkey, stuffing, gravy and rolls. The turkey turned out so good. I have never had such moist yummy turkey before.

I'm so grateful for the country I live in and the freedom that I have. I'm so grateful and blessed to have wonderful family and especially to live close to some of them now.

Winter in October

The first time it snows is the funnest time for the kids. We caught snowflakes on our hands and our tongues, made snow angels, made different tracks and just had a blast enjoying the snow. We can't wait for the snow to get sticky so we can make a snowman.
