Winter Wonderland

It was so snowy and so cold (-40 at one time) when we went home to Canada. We sure had a lot of fun building snow men, snow forts, snow ball fights, sledding and quading, and being snowed in 3 times. The kids had a ton of fun and Brett was in heaven (he loves snow).

Merry Christmas

Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year because we can go home to Canada. I love that we can spend time with family and let the kids play with cousins, relax and eat a lot of yummy food, play games and put together puzzles and play in the SNOW. We hope you had a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Paige Karen Baker

Welcome to the Woolf family Paige Karen Baker. We love you!I flew up to Canada by myself with my boys for the Christmas holidays 4 days before Elaine had Paige. Her and Jared let us stay at their house to wait till Brett was done with finals. We had so much fun with the Baker's and my mom while we waited for her baby to come. Elaine was getting so ancy and excited to see her baby that we tried everything with her. We even ran down the aisles of Walmart and I made her a castor oil smoothie. Well it work, that night is when her water broke and they headed off to the hospital. She didn't deliver Paige till the next day. Lucky I was around to watch Elle (Paige's BIG sister) while my mom helped Elaine out at the hospital. It was just a wonderful experience to be a part of. I love you Baker Family.

Christmas time

Before we flew home for the holidays we went to see the beautiful lights
at the Oakland Temple. It was really cold but Ki loved looking at all
the lights and seeing baby Jesus in the nativity set that was set up.

This year for our ward party we had "A night in Bethleham" and was told to dress up like people back then. It was so much fun and the food was delicious.

The Phantom of the Opera

I love love love Broadway show so I told Brett all I wanted for my
birthday was to finally go see the Phantom of the Opera with him.
It was so amazing and so much fun to dress up for it.

We also went to a pumpkin patch down at Half Moon Bay one Saturday and picked out a pumpkin. Ki got to go on a train ride, the bounce house and even ride a pony. He was in heaven.

When we were traveling home we pulled over and found a nice beach to run around on and watch huge waves rolling in. The sunset was amazing too. I will miss San Francisco sunsets when we leave this beautiful city.

Fall Break...

Brett finished his first quarter of his last year. Time is going fast. We got a week long break after his finals and the kids were able to enjoy some good quality time with Dad. Brett's parents came out to see us for a long weekend and do some fun things in San Fran.

Getting ready for Fall and Halloween.We went to the Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield with Danny, Loni and Jackson. The kids favorite part was after the tour and they got to test taste some of the Jelly beans.
