Stirring and Stirring and Stirring our Brew.... Ooo, Ooo
Stirring and Stirring and Stirring our Brew.... Ooo, Ooo
Tip toe, Tip toe BOO!!!

The boys love sing this song for Halloween and trying to scare us with their "BOO's". We love Halloween!!
We went to a Halloween party at Elaine's house. It was really entertaining and Spooky...
I made these mini wiener mummies for the party. I thought they turned out so cute.

Ki was spider-man, Nate was super-man, and I was suppose to be cat-women.

Nate didn't want anything to do with the pumpkins guts

We thought that our pumpkins turned out pretty good this year.
The boys were so cute in their costumes. Nate would fly around the house making airplane noises

Thanksgiving '09

This year we actually celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving in Canada. I love Canadian Thanksgiving!! Most of my siblings got together and decided to we would still have all the trimmings without my parents around. Since they were down in Arizona and decided to spend it down there with Renee and her family, we did the entire dinner all by ourselves. It was really fun!! We started the afternoon with yummy little appetizers and treats just to hold us all over until the BIG dinner occurred. We spent all afternoon hanging out together- cooking, watching movies, playing, and napping. The whole dinner which included: turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, traditional Grandma Taylor salad, homemade rolls, stuffing, sides of pickles/pickled carrots/olives, rhubarb slushy pop, festive water, apple crisp, and pumpkin pie. There was so much food and everything was delicious. We had the dinner at Jared and Elaine's house and I nervously took on the task of turkey, stuffing, gravy and rolls. The turkey turned out so good. I have never had such moist yummy turkey before.

I'm so grateful for the country I live in and the freedom that I have. I'm so grateful and blessed to have wonderful family and especially to live close to some of them now.

Winter in October

The first time it snows is the funnest time for the kids. We caught snowflakes on our hands and our tongues, made snow angels, made different tracks and just had a blast enjoying the snow. We can't wait for the snow to get sticky so we can make a snowman.

The Corn Maze

I have always wanted to go to a corn maze so I finally packed my kids up and we went for a Family Home Evening activity. Elaine, Jared, Elle, and Paige came too. They actually found out about this fun place and told me about it. There was so many different activities to do besides the corn mazes. They even had pig races for us to watch. It was very entertaining and the whole evening was a blast.

Our Harvest

Canning peaches every year is such an accomplishment for me. This year I didn't just can peaches but I pickled carrots, pickled cucumbers, I picked raspberries and bottled them and made jam too, and picked crab apples off the trees on the median in Okotoks and made crab apple jelly. I did all of this with the help of my sisters. I love Fall time!

Echo Lake, MT

We love going to the Lake to soak in the sun, swim and look for turtles, go on long walks, have camp fires and sleep in tents, go for boat rides, and play with family...especially cousins. Echo Lake has a lot of great memories.

On our way home, driving on the road to the sun, it started to snow/hail. We had to pull the car over and experience winter in early September.

Happy Happy Birthday Nate

Guess who's turning two in our house today. NATE. Happy Birthday to You!! We love you and we are so grateful your a part of our family.
Nate right now loves to:
-Act silly and he makes us laugh all the time
-He is talking so clear and with sentences
-He can count to 10 and say his ABC's
-He loves to say the prayer all the time. He says "please bless mom, dad, Ki and me"
-He loves to skip. It's more like a side shuffle....he has a lazy leg when he does it.
-He loves to scare you by saying "Roar....Be Happy"
-He loves his dad and asks for him all the time.
-He calls his grandparents by "Grandpa Kim and Grandpa Joan, Grandpa Dave and Grandpa Sharon". It use to be that his grandparents were "Grandma Dave and Grandma Kim".
-He plays really well with his Brother and cousins and loves living in Canada. I hear him singing "O Canada..we love you" (because he doesn't know the O Canada song so he makes things up)
-He also loves singing other songs like "I don't want to lose your love tonight" by the Outfields, "Living on a prayer" by Bon Jovi and "I gotta feeling" by the Black eyed peas.
-He loves to dance and have dance parties with everyone.
-He only loves reading one book at a time but over and over again. He really loves a bubble book right now so I decided to do a bubble theme for his birthday.

Happy 2nd Birthday Nate!
