I have always wanted to go to a corn maze so I finally packed my kids up and we went for a Family Home Evening activity. Elaine, Jared, Elle, and Paige came too. They actually found out about this fun place and told me about it. There was so many different activities to do besides the corn mazes. They even had pig races for us to watch. It was very entertaining and the whole evening was a blast.

Echo Lake, MT
On our way home, driving on the road to the sun, it started to snow/hail. We had to pull the car over and experience winter in early September.

Happy Happy Birthday Nate
-Act silly and he makes us laugh all the time
-He is talking so clear and with sentences
-He can count to 10 and say his ABC's
-He loves to say the prayer all the time. He says "please bless mom, dad, Ki and me"
-He loves to skip. It's more like a side shuffle....he has a lazy leg when he does it.
-He loves to scare you by saying "Roar....Be Happy"
-He loves his dad and asks for him all the time.
-He calls his grandparents by "Grandpa Kim and Grandpa Joan, Grandpa Dave and Grandpa Sharon". It use to be that his grandparents were "Grandma Dave and Grandma Kim".
-He plays really well with his Brother and cousins and loves living in Canada. I hear him singing "O Canada..we love you" (because he doesn't know the O Canada song so he makes things up)
-He also loves singing other songs like "I don't want to lose your love tonight" by the Outfields, "Living on a prayer" by Bon Jovi and "I gotta feeling" by the Black eyed peas.
-He loves to dance and have dance parties with everyone.
-He only loves reading one book at a time but over and over again. He really loves a bubble book right now so I decided to do a bubble theme for his birthday.

Magrath Days
Summer wouldn't be summer with out going to little town parades. We've had to miss out on Magrath Days and the parade for the last 3 years so it was really fun to be with family and not miss out on these fun moments.

Peru Trip Part I - Lima, Peru
July 8th- 23rd
Brett served in the Peru, Lima North mission 10 years ago and has wanted to go back to his mission for a long time. After graduation we finally found the perfect time to travel. It was such a great experience. An eye opening experience at that. It's just kind of crazy to think that Brett lived there for 2 whole years. In every place that we traveled in Peru we found families that Brett met on his mission and we even meet up with 3 of his Peruvian companions.
We traveled a lot on the trip but I'm so grateful we did it. It was an experience that I will never forget.
So we flew from Calgary, Canada --> Los Angeles --> Costa Rica --> Lima, Peru(stayed for 4 days) --> Iquitos, Peru(stayed for 4 days) --> Lima,Peru --> Tarapoto, Peru(stayed for 3 days) --> Lima, Peru(stayed for 1 day) --> Cusco, Peru/ Machu Picchu(stayed for 4 days) --> Lima, Peru(one night) --> El Salvador --> Los Angeles(one night) --> Back to Calgary. whew!!
We went to the Peru MTC (missionary training center) where it all began for Brett. It has changed quite a bit in 10 tears, especially the trees.
When we found them David told us that he got baptized 2 months ago
